To make sure you have the best stay possible, we want to fill you in on some details about parking and guest access.
You won't have to worry about parking – we've got you covered right on-site. And guess what? If you're bringing a boat or a camper van, no problem! Feel free to park those here too. For extra vehicles, go ahead and park them right by the cottage. Just a quick heads up, though: we'd really appreciate it if you avoid parking in front of the main house's front door or beside the garage. We're happy to make an exception for brief periods while you're loading or unloading stuff from your vehicle.
Oh, and please steer clear of driving on the grassy areas, especially the wet kerbside grass by the entrance and boundary line. We've had a few cars get stuck before, which would put a damper on your holiday, and undo the whard work of our talented lawn specialist.

Shared Spaces, Friendly Faces
Hudson Park Estate Owners - From now until Feb 2004, owners Tammy and Andrew, along with their adorable Cavoodle, Teddy, are residing intermittently in the main dwelling, using their time there to bring their dreams of an unparalleled guest experience to life. From February 2024, Hudson Park Estate joins The Cottage, providing the rare opportunity for you to experience a completely private and unique luxury getaway.
Hudson Park Estate Staff -Taking care of three hectares of beautiful lawns and lush surroundings requires a lot of effort, which is why we have a dedicated team of lawn specialists and gardeners. They usually swing by the property once a week to make sure everything is looking its best. We do our best to schedule their visits when guests aren't around, but sometimes, especially during busy times, it's tough to avoid. Their visits depend on weather, work schedules, and the needs of the garden at different times of the year. We'll do our best to keep any disruption to a minimum!
Your Space, Your Time: Your privacy matters to us. We'll say hi if we cross paths in the garden or on the driveway but otherwise we promise not to intrude unless you're the first to say hello, you need a hand, have a question, or just want to chat.
Specifically Speaking
When the main house is booked or the owners are around, there are a few areas that are shared by the primary residence and the cottage:
1. Clothesline: You'll find it on the left side of the property, toward the back of the cottage. Before February 2024, we might need to use it every now and then, but it won't mess with your stay too much. After February 2024, when the cottage and main house can be rented separately or together, the clothesline becomes a shared thing.
2. Those cool pebbled herb and veggie gardens
3. Driveway
4. Designated parking spot
5. Where the rubbish bins hang out
6. The front lawn of the cottage
