Artfully designed by humans with exquisite taste, this breathtaking home has the advantage of a semi-self contained space on the ground floor.

Tucked away from the main living area upstairs, guests staying in the extra large downstairs bedroom experience a greater sense of privacy offered by an integrated living area. Wind down in two ultra comfortable, over-sized armchairs in front of your large flat screen TV or utilise your study nook, complete with printer to take care of business remotely. Best of all? Ranchsliders at the end of the bedroom grant access to a private garden patio. The downstairs accomodation is topped off with a beautifully appointed bathroom with freestanding bathtub and overhead shower just across the hall.

If your brother/sister/aunty has scooped the downstairs, don't give it another thought; climb the architectural stairwell, bathed in natural light from the large chapel window above to explore the heart of the home and it's equally impressive features.

At the top of the stairwell, you have 3 options:

Option 1: Turn left into the roaming open-plan designer kitchen/living/dining family space. Wall-to-wall tri-stacking ranchsliders on two sides allow the large outdoor patio to become an extension of your living room. The patio is secured by cedar fencing, punctuated by clusters of mediterranean-style pots and plants and bordered by large planter boxes with striking kelly-green hedging which doubles as a privacy screen. Views of the iconic local mountain, quality outdoor furniture and a long polished concrete outdoor dining table make this area perfect for alfresco summer dining. At the end of the deck, descend the steps to sunbathe or set up a picnic blanket in the sunken garden.

Option 2: Turn right at the top of the stairs, you'll enter the generous, immaculate master bedroom with King-size bed, generous wardrobe and stylish ensuite bathroom.

Option 3: Head in a straight line from the top of the stairs to the main upper bathroom with sea-green wall-to-wall tiling in the shower, a double vanity, and under-floor heating.

Right next door is a separate guest toilet for ultimate convenience.

Next stop along the hallway is a rare and advantageous find in Kiwi holiday homes; both a washing machine AND a dryer. You can still take advantage of those sunny Mount days with the outdoor clothesline, easily accessible from the the laundry.

Last but not least, at the end of the hall, you'll find the remaining two Queen bedrooms, also both equipped with wardrobes.

Fluted glass windows throughout make for one of the most visually appealing features, adding a hint of retro charm in keeping with the original era of the home, yet modernising the interior with floods of natural light and no compromise to privacy.

The location of this home is simply superb. Across the road from a beach access you will find yourself just five minutes walk to Tay Street Café and Store, eight minutes walk to popular Eddie’s & Elspeth Café, nine minutes walk to the Cinema, eleven minutes walk to Pilot Bay and five minutes walk to the ever-popular cafes and boutique shops of Downtown Mount.
